The position is responsible for researching publicly funded programs in the company's current areas of activity and in innovative fields aligned with company strategies, forming partnerships for these projects, applying for these programs, and managing approved projects. This role is critical in maximizing the utilization of national and international public funding in alignment with the company’s technology roadmaps. The position plays a key role in securing public funding models to bring the company’s product and service roadmaps to life.
- Conduct research for national and international publicly supported projects and grant programs, and to quickly become aware of company-related support by creating a professional network in this context,
- Monitor the requirements of national and international public funding programs, develop projects aligned with the company’s strategy and roadmaps, and submit them to relevant public institutions,
- Prepare necessary documentation for public-funded projects, coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather required company information and documents, and ensure complete and accurate submissions to funding programs,
- Coordinate with internal project managers for approved projects, manage reporting and audit processes, and ensure that the company’s activities within these projects align with program requirements, timelines, and budgets,
- Develop comprehensive project plans to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion of funded projects,
- Identify, analyze, and mitigate risks associated with funded projects,
- Maintain contact with national and international funding institutions, continuously track their strategies, and explore potential collaborations,
- Develop and sustain partnerships with universities, research centers, government institutions, and other technology companies,
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with internal and external stakeholders,
- Monitor and report on the performance of public-funded projects within the company,
- Conduct data-driven analyses to develop forward-looking strategic plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field,
- At least 8 years of experience in public funding, grants, R&D project management,
- Strong knowledge of national and international public funding programs such as Europe, TÜBİTAK, EU grants,
- Experience in project proposal writing, submission, and grant management processes,
- Ability to build and maintain professional networks with funding institutions, universities, and research centers,
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment,
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills,
- Very good English proficiency in reading, writing and speaking.
